Survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Elmore Ivey; 1 son, Earl Ivey; 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Dewey Mathis of Graysville, Ala., Mrs. Hobert Gragg of Lenior, N.C.; 1 stepson Lonnie Isbell, of Montgomery; 3 brother, Harry, Joe and Paul Ivey, 2 sisters, Mrs. Bee Waldon, Mrs. Ruth Head; 4 grandchildren. Funeral services Monday, 3 p.m. from Johns-Ridout's West Chapel, the Rev. James Cantrell officiating. Interment Elmwood Cemetery, Johns Ridout's, 2113 8th Ave., S. directing.
William was preceded in death by his parents Edward and Emma Ivey and a brother Ralph Lee Ivey.
