William C. Wade, 20 of 430 N. Arcade Street, Gladwin, died Saturday, December 8, at 3:35 a.m., in Standish Community Hospital, following an automobile accident. Born December 8, 1953, in Mt. Pleasant, he is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Wade, and was a life-time resident of Gladwin County. He was employed at the Gladwin Manufacturing plant here.
Surviving are his parents, Arthur and Jessie Wade; a brother, Arthur Jr., of Gladwin; 4 sisters, Mrs. Bonnie House of Gladwin, Mrs. Elizabeth Hurst of Bay City, Mrs. Helen Wrisley of Gladwin, and Mrs. Mary Ellen Swinehart of Millington; and grandfather, Charles Newman Sr., of Gladwin.
Services were held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Hall Funeral Home, Gladwin. The Rev. Carl Lindberg officiated and burial was in Highland Cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 12-12/1973 Column – 6 Page – 2.
