She married Charles R. Kline on May 8, 1943, in Lafayette, Indiana; he survives. He is retired from the Lafayette Fire Department and Purdue University audio visual department. Mrs. Kline was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Cathedral for than 50 years.
Surviving with her husband are a son, Charles R. Kline, Jr. of Lafayette; four daughters, Karen Brand of West Lafayette, Patricia "Patty" Slayton, Linda Franklin, and Terry Aldridge, all of Lafayette; two brothers, William "Bud" Aschenberg and John "Jack" Aschenberg, both of Lafayette; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Helen Grogan.
