"Funeral services were held at the Green City Methodist Church Monday for Mrs. Ida May Draper, 72, who died at her home in Green City on Saturday, following a long illness. The services were conducted by the Rev. B. F. Cline and burial was made in the Mount Olivet cemetery.

Mrs. Draper was born near Memphis, Mo. [sic], Oct. 8, 1867, the daughter of Rev. and Mrs. Hezekiah Cain. in 1890 she was married to Samuel M. Draper, whp preceded her in death three years ago [sic].

Mrs. Draper is survived by nine children, as follows: Walter of Casper, Wyo.; Edwin of Sioux Falls, S. Dak.; Mrs. Ora Hunsaker, who lives north of Green City; Mrs. Emery Hunsaker of Harrisburg, S. Dak.; Charles of Hugo, Colo.; Mrs. William High of Fort Wayne, Ind.; Emery Draper of River Sioux, Iowa; Mrs. Vada Johnson of Worthing, S. Dak.; and Emmett, who made his home with his mother in Green City.

She also leaves an aged brother, James Cain of St Catherine, Mo., and twenty-two grandchildren. Two brothers, a sister and a half-brother preceded her in death." The Kirksville Graphic (Kirksville, Missouri), August 2, 1940
