ADAMS-RUMMEL - Tharon E., 88, Mineral Point, went to be with the Lord Jan. 25, 2012. Born May 24, 1923, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Abraham and Elsie (Eppley) Knepper. Preceded in death by first husband, Arthur Rummel; brothers, Frank and Abraham; and sisters, Esther, Faye, Geraldine, Violet and Madeline. Survived by second husband, Spurgeon Adams; sons, Ronald (Carol) Rummel; and Mark (Nadine) Adams; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren; also four great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Elaine Rummel, Clifford Knepper, Alice Braddee and Lynn Cramer; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 11 a.m. Saturday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, the Rev. Dr. David Karlberg, officiating. Interment to follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery, Johnstown.
