Born in Beloit, KS. He left us and was reunited with his father, Arnold. Family members include wife, Candy; daughter, Lacy and her husband, Mitch, their children Karissa and Jaxson; son, Avery and his wife, Tami, their son Noam; mother, Pauline; brothers, Kenny and Roger; sister, Julie.
A Celebration of Don's life will be held at White Rock Cemetery located inside Lovewell State Park (park permit required), Webber, KS Tuesday July 10th at 10:30am. (Casual dress or as Don would have wanted, shorts.) NO VISITATION. Cremation. His family will set him free in the warm, blue ocean near San Juan, Puerto Rico. Memorials may be directed in care of the family. (Elmwood, NE). Condolences or personal reflections may be left online at:

Donald Eugene Reiter, 59, the son of Arnold and Pauline Reiter, was born on January 2, 1953 in Beloit, Kansas. Donald left this life on July 5, 2012.

He was raised on a farm in Jewell County Kansas and attended Montrose Grade School, Mankato High School and continued his education at North Central Kansas Vo-Tech.

On September 28, 1974 Don was united in marriage to Candis Heinrichs in Bruning, Nebraska. They made their home in Jewell, KS before relocating to Nebraska. They spent the last 10 years enjoying their acreage near Eagle where he loved to ride his 4 wheeler.

Don's business Auto Trim Design allowed him to continue his passion for cars and trucks but allowed him enough time to umpire baseball games, on occasion go fishing and escape to warmer climates.

He loved being "papa" for his grandchildren and grandpuppies. Family members include wife, Candy, daughter, Lacy her husband Mitch, their children Karissa
and Jaxson; son Avery his wife Tami, their son Noam. Mother Pauline, brothers Kenny his wife Mary, Roger his wife Gilly; sister Julie her husband Dennis. As well as many nieces and nephews.

Memorial service was held at White Rock Scandinavian Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Lovewell State Park on July 10, 2010.
