A native of Volusia County, FL, she was a member of the Waycross Seventh Day Advent Christian Church and had worked as a custodian in the school system.
She was the daughter of James Hull and Amanda Bennett Hull. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wyatt E. Widener; and two brothers, Hugh Hull and Cecil Hull.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy Blount; grandchildren, Bobby Blunt, Heidi Blount, Wyatt Blount and Crystal Johns, son-in-law, Jack Blount, all of Nahunta; several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Apr. 19, at the Southside Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Manning, Rev. Ronald Sharpe, and Rev. Michael Gibbs officiating. Burial followed in the Bethlehem Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Patrick Rowell, Michael Wells, Justin Smith, Phillip Rowell, Brad Rogers, Brian Rowell and Chris Smith. Honorary pallbearer was Harris Anderson.
