Amelia Marie Mayberry, 83, of Las Vegas, passed away March 14, 2009. Amelia (nee Venti) was born and raised in Philadelphia, where she lived over 60 years. She was a factory worker for IRC, and retired at the age of 62. She moved to Las Vegas to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren. Fondly remembered as a good cook, sharp wit, and solitaire player, Amelia was a kind and loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Mayberry. Amelia is survived by her daughters, Loretta Klem and Susan Carbonell; five grandchildren, Anna Earl (nee Klem), Rachel Klem, Nicole Silda (nee Rohr), and Amy and Robert Rohr; and six great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2575 W. El Campo Grande Ave., in North Las Vegas.
