1995 Obituary – "DMJ" June 27, 1995 - Arthur Miller (should be Weller) - Portage Township Arthur B Weller Jr., 72, of Portage Township, died Monday, June 26, 1995, in Luce County Annex, Newberry. Born March 24, 1923 in Toledo, Ohio, he was a resident of the Curtis area for the past 13 years. Prior to that he was a resident of Toledo, where he was foreman, for the Toledo electric company. For 40 years until his retirement in 1982. He married the former Karla Kerekes in Toledo in 1945. He was Army veteran of World War II and a member of the St. Timothy's Catholic Church, Curtis. Survivors include his wife; a son, Dale (Debra) Weller of Chillicothe, Ohio; a daughter, Diane (Timothy) Shankland of Pickerington, Ohio; and 4 grandchildren. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p. m. Wednesday in St. Timothy's, with a 7 p.m. prayer service. A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a. m. Thursday in the church, with the Rev. Dan Rupp officiating.
