Dr. Dalton practiced medicine in Livingston, Sumter Co., AL; Aberdeen, Monroe Co.,MS; and St. Louis, MO.
He died at the home of his daughter, Katherine Henderson [Dalton] Smith in Tacoma, Pierce Co., WA, on January 21, 1900.
