QUANAH - Maridell Davis, 75, died Wednesday, May 7, 2008, in Wichita Falls.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in Quanah Memorial Park with the Rev. Tim Morris, pastor of First Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are by Smith Funeral Home.
Mrs. Davis was born July 21, 1932, in Dickens County to Homer and Alta Thornhill Miller. She was a former Lubbock resident and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Sue McCarthy of Tucson, Ariz.; a son, Billy Edwards of Quanah; a sister, Eve Lee Morgan of Garland; a brother, Weldon "Sonny" Miller of Corsicana; five grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
The family suggests memorials be to Quanah Senior Citizens, 1410 Shaw, Quanah, TX 79252.
