Joeseph George Malakowsky was born October 13, 1947 in Longview, Washington to Harvey and Geraldine (Guyon) Malakowsky. He passed from this life July 5, 2012 in Plano, Texas, at the age of 64. Joeseph married Barbara Ann Edwards October 10, 1969 in Murphy, Texas. Joeseph served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and Korean Wars as a Sergent First Class (E-7). During his military career he served as a drill sergeant, on the Tunnel Team DMZ, instructor at West Pointe and as an advisor for the national guard. He was an avid coin collector, loved learning about military history, westerns, cooking, drawing, hunting, woodworking and playing cards. Joeseph was a supervisor and enjoyed giving advice to help others. He was also involved with the Masonic Lodge throughout his military career. Most of all Joseph enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Joeseph was preceded in death by his parents: Harley & Geraldine Malakowsky; brother: Mike Malakowsky; sister: Pat Harrison; grandparents: Joeseph Guyon & Isabella Barbannias & George August Malakowsky & Anna Elizabeth Albertina Treichel. He is survived by his spouse: Barabara Malakowsky of the home; sons: Joseph G. Malakowsky Jr. & wife Tiffany of Antlers; Alan P. Malakowsky of Antlers; daughter: Malisa J. Hallman & husband Jody of Antlers; sister: Linda Steele of Antlers; grandchildren: Treena Malakowsky; Trevor Malakowsky; Trace Malakowsky; Harley Malakowsky; Talan Malakowsky; Jadin Malakowsky; Shandra Wilkerson; Layne Hallman; Brayton Hallman; Brandt Hallman; great-grandchildren: Pypyr Gregory; Kyler Shane Battist; Kayden Shane Wilkerson as well as many other relatives and friends. Memorial Service: 11:30AM ~ Wednesday, July 11, 2012 ~ Antlers First Baptist Church. Officiating: Reverend Aaron Reed ~ Brent Franks. Music: "Amazing Grace" ~ "I Seen God Today" ~ "Holes in The Floor of Heaven". Interment: Finley Cemetery, Finley, Oklahoma.
