Albert Daniel Kendall was the only son of Jackson Joseph Kendall and Harriet Chipman. He was the brother of Mate, Nell, Eva and Lula Kendall. Albert was the Railroad Depot Agent in Troutdale, Oregon from 1907 to 1940. He and his wife Ava Lester owned a gladiola farm in Troutdale. Albert is featured in the book Dam Right! Fred Lynch, Oscar Kendall & The Lynch Brothers Diamond Drilling Company. "Uncle Bert" had a great sense of humor and loved to fish. Kendall Avenue in Troutdale is named after him and the Albert Kendall home still stands on the Historic Columbia River Highway.

Albert and Ava were the parents of four daughters: Evelyn (Lampert); Marjorie (Matches); Amy (Dering) and Dorothy (Lucas). Also buried in this cemetery is Albert's sister Nell and brother-in-law Oscar, who was the son of his dad's brother Jerome Kendall.
