JANUARY 10, 1957
Joseph Crutchfield, son of Samuel and Annie Crutchfield was born in Meacham township, Marion Co., Illinois, March 7, 1887 and passed away at Anna State Hospital January 2, 1957, at the age of 69 years, 9 months and 25 days.
He lived a quiet life at home with his parents, who passed on some 30 years ago. Two infant brothers, two brothers, Willie and Elza and a sister, Mrs. Minnie Baldwin preceded him in death.
Surviving are 3 sisters: Mrs. Clara Alderson, of Kinmundy; Mrs. Alice Bradley, of Iuka; and Mrs. Lena Potter, of Watson. Also a number of nephews, neices, cousins and friends.
Funeral services were held Friday at 2 P.M., Bro. G. D. Gerkin, officiating. Interment was made in Phillips Cemetery.
