Iseral "Jay" Justus Clark, 88 passed away July 3, 2012, at the Sr. Villa in Roosevelt. Born September 3, 1923, in Altonah, to David Harvey Sr. and Frances Mecham Clark. Married Lola Penfold, December 24, 1942, in Vernal; sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on October 3, 1945.
Survived by wife, Lola of Roosevelt; children, Theron Jay (Ronda) Clark, Debeque, CO; Tiny Max (MaryLee) Clark, LaPoint; Evon (Barry) Thompson, Theda Rae (Kendall) Scholes, Ada (Guy) Betts, all of Roosevelt; David H Clark, LaPoint; Dixie Ann (Mark) Anderson, Grantsville; daughter-in-law, Lita Clark, Tooele; 27 grandchildren, 64 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brothers and sisters Keith Clark, Duchesne; DeMar Walton, Salt Lake City; LaVar (Sandy) Clark, WA; Donna Wilson, Huntington; Nina Madsen, Phoenix; John E (Ellen) Clark; Charolette (David) Nielsen, both of Gusher; brother-in-law, Ben (Jeff) Clark, Vernal; sister-in-law Jutta Raker, Medford, OR.
Preceded in death by a son Walter E. Clark; grandchildren, Max William Clark and Tracey Lynn Thompson; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise; and brothers, David, Jeremiah, Alma, Joseph and William.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, July 7, 2012, at the LaPoint LDS Chapel. There will be a viewing on Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Hullinger Mortuary and from 10-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the church.
Burial will be in the LaPoint Cemetery with Military Honors by American Legion Post 64 and the Utah National Guard.
