Dena was born February 27, 1956 at Effingham, IL to Robert W. and Mary B. (Miller) Davis. She married Hal Hughes at Kokomo, IN. She was disabled.
Dena is survived by her husband Hal Hughes; one daughter Angela Austin; four step-daughters Leslie, Katrina, Lyida, and Edie Hughes; one step-son JR Hughes; two sisters Trena Cline and Jena Warthen. Also surviving are four grandchildren; six step-grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Preceding her in death were her parents and two brothers Wesley and Todd.
Funeral services was at Hosselton Funeral Home with burial in Branch Cemetery at Geff, IL.
