Carl B. Brining, 85, passed away July 4, 2012. He was born in 1927 to the late Earl and Ida Brining in Illinois. Carl spent 32 years in the Navy and retired as a Data Systems Senior Chief. He was married for 61 years to the love of his life; Dorothy, who passed away earlier this year. Left to cherish his memory are his children; Rodney Brining and his wife Yvonne of Norfolk, Sandra Bonnell of Virginia Beach, A grand daughter; Chantel Pabon of Portsmouth and great-grand child; Anthony Pabon. Mr. Brining loved his country and his family and shared all he had with everyone he knew. A graveside service will be held at Albert G. Horton Memorial Veterans Cemetery on Wednesday July 11 at 10 a.m. with Minister Mike Curry officiating, with full military honors.
