Ada Nell Waldrup was born August 21, 1932 and died July 3, 2012 at the age of 79 after a brief illness.
She was a life long resident of Madison, MS and a member of the First Baptist Church of Madison. .
Nell had a career in retail that spanned fifty years. She was employed as a model for Kennington's Dept. Store, a buyer for Carter Jewelers and McRae's department stores, manager of "The California Shop", and co-owner of "That's My Style", a specialty dress shop.
She is survived by siblings Martha Jean Waldrup, Sue Varner, Fran McDonald and Luther Waldrup all of Madison, MS; Barbara Wann of Brandon, MS, Ed Waldrup and wife Shelia of Indianola, MS; Linda Adcock and husband Eugene of Brandon, MS; 22 nieces and 16 nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Luther Marion Waldrup, mother Velma Lewis Waldrup and sister Hattie "Boots" Whittington.
She was well loved and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Natchez Trace Funeral Home in Madison, MS on July 6, 2012 from 5-7PM and 10-11AM July 7, 2012 with services at 11AM. Interment will follow at Natchez Trace Memorial Cemetery
