-- FORT MILL - Mr. William Donald "Donnie" Epps Sr., 69, of 122 Wilson Street, died Monday, July 2, 2012, at CMC–Main.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Community Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Steve Sanders officiating. Burial will be in Flint Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
A native of Fort Mill, S.C., Mr. Epps was a son of the late Lamont Pettus Epps and Elizabeth Kidd Epps. He was a member of Community Presbyterian Church and was retired from Sonoco of Charlotte, N.C. He was an avid hunter, fisher and gardener.
Surviving are his wife, Angela Elaine Louthan; one son, William Donald Epps Jr. (Sarah); two daughters, Rebecca Epps Strickland (Kevin) and Linda Ann Epps (Gray); one stepson, Larry Gene Baker Jr. (Crystal); one stepdaughter, Angela Maria Baker; one brother, Bobby Epps (Loretta); three sisters, Ann Kimbrell (Eddie), Polly Rockholt (David) and Jean Carlisle (Larry); four grandchildren, Jessica Helms, Ashley Carnes, Kaylee Epps and Robert "Robbie" Church; six step-grandchildren, Jina Spenard, Kayla Baker, Erika Baker, Eleighana Baker, Daniel Orndorff and Jonathon Orndorff; one great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, David L. Epps and a grandchild, Erica Helms.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Community Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Community Presbyterian Church, 600 N. White St., Fort Mill, SC 29715.
