Mrs. T. M Hickcox, 80 died Saturday, April 26 at the Hand county Memorial Hospital.
Francis Agnes Lingscheit was born February 28, 1900 in Cherokee, IA to Martin and Mary Lingscheit. In 1900, she moved with her parents to Gann Valley and in 1919 moved to Ree Heights. She married Thomas Milton Hickcox February 18, 1920 at Miller. They farmed in Ree Heights Township until moving t Ree Heights in 1934. They later moved to Miller in 1964. She was a member of Senior Citizens Friendship Center, World War I Bluegrass Barracks Auxiliary and Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary.
Survivors include her husband; two daughter, Mrs. Mary Mattke, Huron and Mrs. Ila McKown, Montesano, MT; a son, Robert, Bismarck, ND; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ethel Koch, Hampton, MT and Mrs. Kathryn Cleven, North Bend, WA and a brother, Glen Lingscheit, Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Ruth and three brothers.
Funeral services were held Monday, April 28, at the First Presbyterian Church with the Rev. James Smucker officiating. Burial was in Morningside Cemetery, Ree Heights
