OLMSTED. Stella P. Olmsted, 95, formerly of 612 Hazard Ave., Hazardville section of Enfield, died Sunday (Dec. 13) at Johnson Memorial Hospital. She was born in Enfield, and was a lifetime resident of the Wallop and Hazardville sections of Enfield, she attended local schools, graduated Enfield High School, and attended the New England Conservatory of Music, Boston, Mass. She taught piano to hundreds of boys and girls in Enfield and East Windsor for over 50 years. She was a lifetime member of the Hazardville United Methodist Church, taking an active role in its programs and organizations. She was active in the Enfield Grange, a 50 year member of the Penelope Terry Abbe Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and a Charter Member of the Enfield Historical Society. Funeral service will be Friday, 11 a.m., at the Leete-Stevens Enfield Chapels, 61 South Road. Burial will be in Hazardville Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, 10-11 a.m. Memorial donations may be made to the Hazardville United Methodist Church, 330 Hazard Ave., Enfield 06082.
