after the birth of Holden Garther {1805} moved from South Carolina to Georgia for months; which was the birth state of Eliza {1807}.

From Georgia the family moved to Mississippi where Nancy {1810} and Caroline {1814} was born. Alabama Statehood was after the birth of Caroline.

Elizabeth died before this time estimated to be about 1829 and Jesse married her younger sister, who was around 16 years of age {Mary 'Polly' Lnu.

After receiving a letter of character from the State of Alabama the family along with son -n-law Daniel Ross Gandy all embarked on a trip to Texas of Mexico {Province of Texas}. Arriving to the Republic of Texas the list included: Jesse and Mary 'Polly' along with five {5} children and four other dependents. Holden Garther was not in this group as he arrived to the Republlic of Texas Feb 1830 with his wife Charolette Lane Cross and no children. Holden was a Doctor upon his arrival to the Republic of Texas. Both was 25 years of age.

All returned along with new births in families to east of the Sabine River, where Daniel Ross Gandy and Nancy 'Evans' Gandy made their home until there death. At the time the location was Natchotches Parish, which later {1844} was split to include Sabine Parish.

Jesse, Mary and family moved on east to Mississippi, whiere they resided until their deaths.
