Frederick B. Horton was buried in San Antonio in a small cemetery called the Poor Family Cemetery. The cemetery was eventually moved and Frederick might of had a broken tombstone which wouldn't of shown his identity. We looked for him in the City Cemeteries and was unable to locate him. So, there is no burial site for him.

Frederick Horton married Bettie K. Powers, she died after the birth of their son Carl Horton on Feb 28,1867. He then moved back to Littleton, Schuyler County, Illinios with his baby Carl Horton.
There he met Barbara Paul Loar who also had a five year old child, named Dora Loar, and Frederick had four year old Carl. They married August 4th, 1874. Frederick and Barbara had three more children May, Roy & Ross in Illinios. But one child, Roy died and is buried at Arcadia Cemetery in Morgan County, Illinios.
In 1879 Fred & Barbara Horton moved to San Antonio, Tx with Dora, Carl, May & Ross. Fred sent Barbara & the children there in a stagecoach and Fred left the same day on the Southern Pacific Railroad. He rode in an immigrant car with the cattle he had and all their furniture. The stagecoach beat the train to San Antonio.
Fred & Barbara had three more children in San Antonio, which were Eck, Lew, and Fred Jr.
Fred was away most of the time working in Nevada & California. He died in San Antonio at the age of 51.
