ROBERT FISHER RITES WEDNESDAY
Funeral services for Robert Eugene Fisher, 44, Omaha, formerly of Red Oak, will be held Wednesday, March 24, at 9:30 a.m. at Crosby Knoll-Burkett Funeral Chapel i Omaha with graveside services at 11:30 a.m. in Evergreen Cemetery here.
The Rev. Charles Grooms will officiate.
Mr. Fisher died in a closed garage at his home Saturday, March 20, of carbon monoxide asphyxiation while attempting to make car motor repairs with the motor running.
A route salesman for Metz Baking Company, he was born here June 30, 1931, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Bruen (Buck) Fisher and was a 1948 graduate of Red Oak High School. He was a Korean Conflict Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Lois; two daughters, Kelley at home, and Mrs. Angie Stevens, Dallas City, Illinois; two sons, Steve of Cincinnati and David, stationed in Germany in military service; mother, Marie Pearl Fisher, Red Oak; four brothers, Richard (Rip) and Jack, both of Red Oak, Jim of Stanton, and Bill of Eugene, Oregon; sister, Mrs. Howard Jackson, Red Oak, Iowa.
