OCALA,FLORIDA -- Paul Elmer Crowe, 90, formerly of LaVale, died Thursday, June 23, 2010, at the home of his daughter in Ocala.

Born Oct. 1, 1919 in Listonburg, Pa., he was the son of the late Francis Crowe and Rose V. (Kerins) Crowe. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Evelyn Lorraine (Swan) Crowe.

Mr. Crowe was retired from Sears Roebuck & Company. Paul was a member of St. Patrick;s Catholic Church, Cumberland. He was a life member of BPO Elks No. 63, Cumberland, Knights of Columbus Council 5450, Cresaptown, Life Member of the Cumberland Outdoor Club, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 245, Cumberland, Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No 271, Cumberland and American Association of Retired Persons.

He is survived by his daughter, Waneta Lorraine Michaels and her husband, Kenny; two grandchildren, Shanna Moses and husband, Dwayne of Alexandria, Va. and Heather Ott and husband, James of Ft. Hood, Texas; and six great-grandchildren, Shawn Moses, Colin Moses, Audrey Moses, James Ott, Brittany Ott, and Madison Ott; and one brother, Carl F. Crowe and wife, Marion of Sun City Center, Fla.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Patrick's Catholic Church, Cumberland, at a later date.

Inurnment will also be at a later date in St. Michael's Cemetery of Frostburg.
