William Alvin Otto Stoltz passed away in the Lawrence County Memorial Hospital, Lawrenceville, Illinois, at the age of 70.
He was the son of John Adam and Mary Magdalene (Hinderliter) Stoltz He married Maude L. Lewis on May 20, 1918 in Lawrence County, Illinois.
He was a World War I veteran.
Surviving him were his wife; two sons, Earl Ray and Marshall Lewis Stoltz; a daughter, Juanita Irene Gilliat; and seven grandchildren.
Preceding him in death were his parents; a son, Ernest Otto Stoltz (on March 12, 1954); three grandchildren and a brother.
