Mrs. Bright went to her heavenly home at the age of 101. She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Arthur R. (Pop) Bright.
Elvie was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and the Welcome Sunday School Class. She was employed with Sitter Service Inc. after surviving cancer she returned to work at Samford University with Marriott Corp. as a cashier in the cafeteria until the age of 85.
