Savannah Morning News, Tuesday, Apr 10, 1984. Brunswick - Mrs. Nancy Elizabeth Dobbins Hodges, 84, died Sunday at Goodwill Nursing Home after a long illness. The Lamar County, AL, native lived in Glynn County for 35 years. She was a member of Rye Patch Baptist Church in Long County. Surviving are 4 daughters, Mr. JoVadi Glass of Birmingham, AL, Mrs. Maxine Crowson of Foley, AL, Mrs. Hazel Bell of Stockton, CA and Mrs. Patsy Boatwright of Brunswick; a son, Robert E. Hodges of West Helena, AR; 2 stepdaughters, Mrs. Nell DiLasico of Pompano Beach, FL, and Mrs. Virginia Timm of Miami; a sister, Mrs. Mae Webster of Okolona, MS; a brother, W.E. Dobbins of Truman, AR; and 12 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Graveside service: 3 p.m. Wednesday at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery in Long County. Gordon-Harrison Funeral Home of Jesup in charge of arrangements.
