A graveside service for Helen Grace Gilbert will be at 11 a.m. Monday in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Vancouver, Wash.
Mrs. Gilbert, a former Vancouver resident, died of causes related to age Thursday (January 2, 1992) in a Seattle-area nursing home. She was 95.
Mrs. Gilbert was born on July 29, 1896, in Beardsley, Minn. She married Dudley Gilbert in April 8, 1934. Her maiden name was Brougher. She was a homemaker who lived in Vancouver from 1943 until 1980, when she moved to Seattle. Mr. Gilbert died in 1960.
She is survived by her daughters, Evie Counts of Livingston, Mont., Dorothy Gilbert of Vancouver, Arlene Thompson of Westwood, Calif., Joyce DeBolt of Enumclaw, Wash., Jean Rose Andrew of Richland, Wash., Joan Rose of Washougal, Wash., Kay Gill of Edmonds, Wash; stepsons, Alfred and Herman Sasse, and stepdaughter Emma Clapp, all of Livingston; sister, Bernice Hium of Spokane; 25 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.

Born July 29, 1896, in Beardsley, Minn., Mrs. Gilbert had lived in Seattle since 1980. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Washougal.
Her husband, Dudley, died in 1960.
Survivors include seven daughters, Evie Counts of Lifingston, Mont., Dorothy Gilbert of Vancouver, Arlene Thompson of Westwood, Calif., Joyce DeBolt of Enumclaw, Wash., Jean Andrew of Richland, Wash., Joan Rose of Washougal, and Kay Gill of Edmonds, Wash.; a stepdaughter, Emma Clapp of Livingston; two stepsons, Alfred and Herman Sasse, both of Livingston; a sister, Bernice Hium of Spokane; 25 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Evergreen Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Memorial Gardens Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
