Bolden, Jacob Henry "Jake" , 88 of Old Town, passed away on June 30, 2012 at Haven Hospice of the Tri-Counties in Chiefland, Florida. Mr. Bolden was a retired auto worker, who enjoyed fishing, watching baseball, especially the "Cardinals". He was a member of the Suwannee River Baptist Church of Old Town, Florida. He served his county well during WWII in the US ARMY.
He was married in 1944 to Opal Compton Bolden of Old Town, two sons, Jacob Larry Bolden of Old Town, FL, and James (Serena) Bolden of Pevely, Missouri, a daughter, Pat (Rick) Stevenson of Old Town, FL., 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Services will be Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at 2pm. At Hiers-Baxley Funeral Services Chapel, with Pastor Bobby Lindsey officiating. Visitation will be prior to the services. Burial will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida. In Lieu of flowers, family would like expressions of sympathy to be sent to Suwannee River Baptist Church of Old Town, Florida.
