Joe Willie Schwartz Expires Suddenly

Funeral services were held for Joe Willie Schwartz, 51, at the family residence at Schulenburg Wednesday morning.

Burial was in the Hallettsville Jewish cemetery with Rabbi Robert I. Kahn of Houston officiating.

A son of the late Max Schwartz, a pioneer of this area, Mr. Schwartz was a widely known South Texas rancher, centering his livestock interests on property at Three Rivers. He was also owner of the Fayette County Implement company at Schulenburg. He died Monday night after suffering a stroke.

He is survived by his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Irvin Kaplan of Houston and Miss Diana Schwartz, freshman at the University of Texas; and three sisters, Mrs. A.C. Bullmann of Dallas, Mrs. T.C. Cohen of Houston and Mrs. C.S. Littman of Denver, Colorado.
