Mr. Petersen, who resided at route 2, Twin Falls, was born December 5, 1877, in Copenhagen, Denmark. He moved to Twin Falls in February 1915, from Elk Point, South Dakota, and was employed by the Twin Falls Flour mill for 32 years. He had retired about one year ago.
Mr Petersen is survived by his widow, Mrs. Carrie Petersen, Twin Falls, whom he married in 1901 in Vermillion, South Dakota; five daughters, Mrs. Hobert Thompson, Richland, Washington; Mrs. John Moore, Nelson, B.C.; and Mrs Edna Fetheroff, Mrs. Orville Fillmore and Mrs. Burnas Nichols, all Twin Falls; 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Also surviving are a sister, Mrs. Christine Torkelsen, Hillrod, Denmark, and two nephews residing in Santa Monica, California.
