Mrs. Bridgforth Dies in Richmond at 86
Mrs. Rachel Bridgforth, 86, of 1024 West Franklin St., died Wednesday. Mrs. Bridgforth, widow of Dr. Baskerville Bridgforth, was the daughter of Gen. John R. Cooke, C.S.A. She was a native of King William county and a member of Grace and Holy Trinity Episcopal Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Giles M. Robertson of Richmond; a son, Baskerville Bridgforth, Sr. of Williamsburg; two sisters, Mrs. William J. Wallace and Mrs. Stafford H. Parker and a brother, Philip St. George Cooke, all of Richmond.
A funeral service will be held at noon Friday at Grace and Holy Trinity Church, with burial in Hollywood Cemetery.
