Father, Henry Mittelberg (or Middleberg); Mother M. Johnson. In 1858 Wilhelmina came to America and made her home in Hay, Huron county, Ontario, Canada. She was the widow of Heinrich Johann Christian Richter (1st marriage, one son, Henrich Richter). In 1859 she married (2nd marriage) Casper Wirtz. Fall of 1861 the family moved to Northfield, Minnesota, where they made their home until the spring of 1903, when they came to Brinsmade, Benson County, North Dakota. She made her home on the farm until she died at 85 years 10 months and 4 days.
