Bill was the son of Edward Everette Bain and Annie Ellen Love.
He was a lifetime resident of Greensboro.
He was married in Greensboro on June 24, 1924 to
Sarah Elizabeth "Lib" Ferguson.

Bill worked with his father and brother at the E E Bain
Lumber Company until the company closed during the
Great Depression.

Bill worked with Harbor Sales Company until retirement.
He was a member of Greensboro Lodge #76, a 32nd degree
and Shriner.

Bill enlisted in the U S Navy along with his older brother
Ed during WW-I. His parents proudly had a family flag
with 2 stars to display.

Bill & Lib had one child;
Doris Ferguson Bain Wrenn b. October 2, 1925 in Greensboro
