BISON — Olga H. Crotinger, 96, died June 25 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, Great Bend. She was born Oct. 17, 1915 at Olmitz, the daughter of Ernest and Anna (Wilman) Nather.

She married Arthur Crotinger, June 3, 1935 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Timken. He died December 19, 2007. She was a homemaker and a lifetime Otis-Bison area resident.

Mrs. Crotinger was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, and altar society, She enjoyed baking, sewing, gardening and caring for all the farm animals, especially her chickens and cats.

Survivors include her two sons, Eugene Crotinger and wife Deb, Hinton, Okla. and Michael Crotinger and wife Annalee,
rural Bison; seven daughters, Dorothy Hernandez, Great Bend, Lois Pusateri and husband Joe, Belton, Mo., Cindy Sohm and husband John, Otis, Florence Holmes and husband Tom, Great Bend, Sue Hollingsworth, McPherson, Debbie Dalton, Otis, Rosemary Linn and husband Nick, Smith Center; one sister, Elsie Perkins and husband Bob, Cardiff, Calif; 29 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, Mary Ann Crotinger and Carol Willhite; two brothers, Edward Nather and Alfred Nather; son-in-law, Terry Dalton, and one great grandchild, Joseph Basgall.

The Mass of Christian Burial is at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 28 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Olmitz. The wake service is 7 p.m. on Wednesday with a rosary following at St. Ann Catholic Church. The officiant will be Father Ultan Murphy.

Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Timken. The memorial fund is St. Ann Catholic Church in care of Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home.
