Rosa Elizabeth Kunkel, 99 ½ years old, died at home Wednesday, June 27, 2012. She was born December 2, 1912 in Washington, Texas.

Rosa was an avid Bingo player and loved flowers. She loved her family, especially her daughter, Linda Kay and the best son-in-law in the world, Mark McGough.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul; brothers, Robert, Benny, Jay, Bill and Buddy.

Rosa is survived by her daughter, Linda Kay McGough and husband, Mark McGough of Angleton; sister, Mae Wollam of Leander, TX; brother, George Amason and wife, Tiny of Crosby; sister-in-law, Libby Amason of West Columbia; grandchildren, Clint McGough and wife, Aimee of Angleton and Richard McGough, Jr. and wife, Brenda of Clute, TX; special nieces, Claudia Olshovsky and Lou Ann Kloc and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 29, 2012 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Palms Funeral Home in Angleton. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 30, 2012 at Palms Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Angleton Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clint McGough, Lester Wollam, Jamie Olshovsky, Joe Kloc, Kevin Kloc and Kristopher Kloc.
