Mrs. W. F. Griffis, 50, died at her home in Bearden Monday, 10:10 p.m. Mrs. Griffis was a member of the Salem Baptist Church. Survived by her husband, W. F. Griffis of Bearden, six daughters, Mrs. Edgar Todd of Shreveport, La., Mrs. Hollis Childers of El Paso, Texas, Mrs. Johnnie Alexander of Bearden, Miss Janie Sue Griffis, Miss Carolyn Griffis and Miss Dorothy Faye Griffis all of the home; three sons, Burral Griffis of Osceola, Edward Griffis of Stephens, Bill Griffis of Waldo, ??? Griffis of Stamps, Roy of Shumaker, Albert of Haynesville, La., Odell of Spur, Texas; one sister Mrs. Annie Raley of Stamps, four brothers, Tom Wise of Prescott, Lonnie Wise of Mountain Home, Jesse Wisse of Bearden and Jack Wise of Bearden. Funeral services will be announced by Proctor Funeral Home.
