Opelousas, La., Feb. 21. — Funeral services were held at the Melville Methodist church for Mrs. William J. Whittemore, 56, who died at her home there following an illness of several months.

Interment was in the Melville cemetery.

She is survived by her husband; one sister, Mrs. Dora Watson of Denham Springs; three brothers, Charles [sic Chester] Bergeron, Church Point; Wallace Bergeron, Melville and Morain Bergeron, Baton Rouge.
