RAY—Mrs. Rachel Ray died at her home in Vernon township Wednesday night, July 5, 1916, aged 83 years. She was twice married, her first husband, Mr. Gillaspy, preceded her to the grave a number of years ago. Her second husband, George Ray, died about two years ago. She is survived by three sons and two daughters, viz: Leonard and Alex Gillaspy, of near Crothersville; Harve Gillaspy, of Kansas; Mrs. Catherine White, of Texas, and Mrs. George M. Bedel,of Vernon township. The funeral services were conducted at Uniontown Friday morning at 10 o'clock followed by burial in the cemetery near Crothersville.
