Robert Lee Roy (Jack) Carr, 49 of 2821 Marigold, died Thursday afternoon in a hospital after a short illness.

He was a foreman at Swift & Company and was a lifelong resident of Fort Worth. He was a Mason and a member of the Oakhurst Methodist Church.

Surviving are his wife, a son, Jerry Manning Carr: two daughters Mrs, Randall Smith and Mrs. Fred Sanders: his parents Mr. and Mrs. L. L. Carr; a half brother, Calvin Murphy, all of Fort Worth, and one grandchild.
