Mrs. Beatrice Hutson Heidt, 68, widow of the late Creighton Mitchell Heidt of Nesmith died at 10:45 p.m. Tuesday at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Nesmith Baptist Church. The service will be conducted by Rev. C. Burton Haselden, pastor, and Rev. Robert Smart, a former pastor. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home, will be in the church cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Robert Johnson, W. J. Cooper Jr., Wiley Turner, F. S. Brockington, G. C. Wall, and Sammie Rodgers.
Mrs. Heidt was born at Hampton, a daughter of the late W. M. and Emma Catherine Freeman Hutson. She spent her early live and attended public schools in Hampton before coming to Nesmith in 1923 to make her home.
She was a member of Nesmith Baptist Church.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Broadus Dobson (Katherine Heidt) of Greer; two sons, Edward V. Heidt of Clio, and C. Mitchell Heidt of Nesmith; two sisters, Miss Emma Susan "Tudie" Hutson of Greer and Mrs. Dessie H. Crosby of Alexandria, Va.; three brothers, James Hutson and Harry Hutson, both of Hardeeville, and Cleve Hutson of Seabrook; and seven grandchildren.
