Harry was the son of Jacob C. & Elizabeth F Addison Eichelberger. It is said he was born in Florida but the 1900 Census list his date and birth 1856 in Georgia. He was 43 in 1900, so his census interview was taken prior to his birthdate of October 30.He married a daughter from one of the pioneer families, Berthania Elizabeth Downes (Miss Tidy) possibly in 1879 or 1880. Three children were born to this union: Elbert D born May 1881; William born 1884 and Jenevieve born in 1890.Eichelberger's most productive photographic period was 1890-1910.

Jacob Eichelberger was my great grandmother's great uncle. Regards, Mary Beth Marchant
