Helen Jane Turner, 82, of Fort Lupton, formerly of Fort Collins, died Feb. 23, 2004, in Brighton. She was born Oct. 10, 1921, in Broken Bow, Neb., to Sarah Jane Scott and Agustus Arthur.
She married Clifford Jean Davis on Aug. 8, 1941, in Fort Lewis, Wash. She then married Harry Walsh Morrow on June 4, 1946, in Belleville, Kan. Both Clifford and Harry preceded her in death during World War II. She married Charles Austin Turner on Nov. 25, 1960, in Branson, Mo.
Ms. Turner was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Her hobbies included sewing, cooking and fashion. Helen enjoyed making people laugh.
She lived in Fort Collins for the past 18 years, moving here from Commerce City. This past year she had lived in Fort Lupton to be near her son.
Survivors include two sons; three daughters; a sister, Alice Francis O'Brien of Denver; 13 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three husbands and nine siblings.
