Washington Observer, Washington PA, Tuesday 21 March 1939 - GEORGE FRANKLIN MORROW, 68, proprietor of a grocery store at 150 West Wheeling Street, died in his home above the store, yesterday at 5 p.m. A son of HENRY and SARA MURRAY MORROW, Mr. Morrow was born at Bridgeville, Nov. 2, 1871. He had resided in Washington for the past 35 years. He operated the grocery store for the past three years and prior to that operated a service station on East Maiden Street. He was a member of the Bethel Presbyterian Church. Surviving are his wife, EMMA CHARLTON MORROW, four children: WILLIAM and GEORGE, JR., both of Washington; ALICE, wife of CHARLES McCUSKER, Morgantown, W. Va.; six brothers and two sisters; JOHN, JAMES and WILLIAM all of Bridgeville; DAVID, Canonsburg; SAM, Detroit, Mich.; THOMAS, Pittsburgh; ELIZABETH, wife of MINOR SPENCE, and HARRIET, wife of DAVID BELL, both of Bridgeville. Six grandchildren also survive. The body will remain at the home of MRS. HENDERSON, 127 South Ruple Avenue, until Wednesday at 11 a.m., when it will be removed to the A. Blaine Day Funeral Home, Jefferson Avenue, where services will be held at 2 p.m. in charge of the Rev. W. Love. Burial will be in the Bethel Cemetery.

Church records indicate George is buried in Section 2, Lot 40 - no gravestone found at this site. His wife, Emma Jane Charlton is buried at Washington Cemetery, Washington Co PA.
