Funeral services for A. C. Liles, Jr. 74, an Insurance Agent of Gilbert, LA will be 10 am Friday June 29, 2012 at Life Church, Winnsboro, LA with Rev. George Bates and Rev. Kevin Bates officiating. Interment will be in New Winnsboro Cemetery, Winnsboro, LA. Visitation will be 5 - 8 pm Thursday June 28, 2012 at the church under the direction of Gill First National Funeral Home.
Mr. Liles was born February 21, 1938 to his parents A. C. and Eris Crooks Liles in Winnsboro, LA and passed from this life on June 26, 2012 at his residence.
A. C. was raised in a farming family. His family also owned a grocery store where A. C. helped his parents run. He was a farmer and a cattleman for many years. He was currently employed with Cuave Insurance of Winnsboro and a member of Life Church of Winnsboro, LA. He was also very active with the 12 Step Family.
Survivors include daughter Allison Liles Killingsworth and husband Gary of Winnsboro, LA; sons Mark Liles and wife Tammie of Fort Necessity and A. C. Liles III and wife Carol Ann of Covington, LA; grandchildren Mark Liles, Jr and wife Heather; Michael Liles and wife Kristi; Mason Liles, Ainsley Claire Liles and Avery Caitlin Liles; great grandsons Kaden Liles and Ty McMurray; favorite dog Belle Liles.
Pallbearers will be Neville Cuave, Gary Killingsworth, Mark Liles, Mason Liles, Michael Likes and Mike Wood.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rev. George Ferrington, Buddy Newman and Aaron Scott.
