Wife of Lawrence Seymour
(1920-1995). Mother of Judy Seymour Slack and Linda Seymour Brittain. Grandmother of Jason Slack, Adam Slack, Ryan Brittain, and Aaron Brittain. Great-grandmother of Briana and Taner Slack, and Tyler, Dylan, and Natalie Brittain. Tough Lady with a Heart of Gold. She would give you the clothes off her back, but if you crossed her or did something she did not like, she would let you know and you would not forget it. She was a wise lady that was always there to listen, and always be there to give her opinion. Lawrence and Mabel had there ups and downs, but loved each other very much. The year he lived without her was very lonely. She was loved by all that knew her. Died of a Blood Clot, while battling pancreatic cancer, a disease she had for more than five years. Lawrence followed a year later.

Mabel Mary Seymour, 69, of Turlock died Tuesday at Emanuel Medical Center.
Mrs. Seymour was a native of Orosi and lived in Stanislaus County most of her life. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Lawrence Seymour of Turlock; children, Judy Slack and Linda Brittain, both of Turlock; a sister, Dorothy Sarmento of Atwater; and four grandchildren.
Private services will be held. Allen Mortuary, Turlock, in charge of arrangements.
