Lee L Chambliss, 76, of Purvis, died June 24, 2012 at Ochsner Medical Center. Services will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at Moore Funeral Chapel in Purvis followed by burial in Pine Ridge Hartfield Cemetery.
Mr. Chambliss worked in dry wall construction. He served in the U.S. Army and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Chambliss Tangye; his father, Marvin Chambliss; and a sister, Marie Gamble.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Chambliss of Purvis; six sons, Kevin Chambliss of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., Ricky Chambliss, Tony Chambliss, Jimmy Cooper, David Cooper and Arthur Joe Cooper all of Purvis; a sister, Susan Johnson of Purvis; a brother, Billy Chambliss of D'Iberville; ten grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:30 – 10 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Purvis.
