The Washington Observer, Washington PA, Tuesday 18 February 1941, page 2 - MISS ELIZA BELLE CHEESEMAN, 84, who had resided on the family farm in Peters Township, Finleyville, R. D. 1, virtually all her life, died at her home there Sunday night at 8:45 o'clock from a heart condition following an illness of about two months. Miss Cheeseman was born on the same farm on December 6, 1865. She resided at one time in Latrobe, Pa., for a few years. She was one of five children, only one of whom survives her. He is JOHN H. CHEESEMAN, with whom she resided. Other brothers and sisters, all deceased, were LOYAL, FRANK, MARY JANE CHEESEMAN and MRS. ANNA M. CRAIG. A number of nieces and nephews survive. She was a member of the Finleyville Presbyterian Church. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Finleyville Presbyterian Church. The body will be removed to the church one hour before services. Burial will be in the Mingo Cemetery.
