Porter H. Kennedy, 64, prominent Millersport Rt. 1 farmer, died today at 10:30 a.m. in Lancaster-Fairfield Hospital. He had been ill several months.
Mr. Kennedy was a member of the Elks Club here. A veteran of World War I, he was a member of Fairfield Post 11, American legion. He was affiliated with the Mt. Zion Church, Rt. 188.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Esther; two sons: John R. Kennedy, Granville Rt. 2; and Kermit Neal Kennedy, Amanda Rt. 1; three brothers: H.C. Kennedy and Charles Kennedy, both of Lancaster; and Joe Kennedy, Circleville Rt. 4; two sisters: Mrs. Finley Denison, Columbus and Mrs. Roy England, Circleville; a half-brother, Pear? Kennedy, Ashville; and four grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements will be announced later by the Frank E. Smith Funeral Home.
